03 Install PyTorch for CPU Only Install - No GPU Needed

Install the 180MB version of PyTorch on your old computer without a suitable CPU. This avoids the 4GB install of the GPU version. Tested on Intel i7-6800K, a 10 year old CPU. We will use this with FAISS in the future for educational testing. See previous video in this series to get an idea of single-sentence performance, which takes around 8 seconds and thus is usable for education. If you have a better GPU or a Mac M1, M2, M3, M4, use the GPU version. This step is only needed if you have old hardware or do not have a suitable GPU. This includes many laptops. The Neo Kabukicho game tutorial series is CPU-first: I assume no GPU or accelerator and focus on concepts, correctness, and reproducible workflows that run on any standard computer.
