07 Virtual Private Cloud

This video will help you understand Google Cloud VPC. VPC network is a virtual version of physical network and it is software based network. VPC provides connectivity for Compute Engine , Google Kubernetes Engine and other resources in your project. Need to have at least one VPC in your project. New project starts with default VPC that has one subnet in each region Single can project contains multiple VPC networks VPC networks associated with firewall rules and routes Firewall and routes are global resources Subnets are regional resources .Each subnet defines range of IP addresses Network traffic controlled by firewall rules Network administration is controlled by cloud IAM roles Organization can use Shared VPC between the common projects VPC to on premise connection possible by Cloud VPN or Cloud Interconnect More than one subnet per region is possible
