Ordinal data – ordered categories without exact differences (e.g. satisfaction or happiness levels)
Interval data – numerical scales with equal intervals but no true zero (e.g. temperature, IQ)
Ratio data – numerical scales with equal intervals and a true zero (e.g. height, weight, income, age)
