There are 5 different ways to build a bot essentially using Regex, scripting languages such as AIML, rivescript, superscript or chatscript, APIs such as wit.ai, api.ai, luis.ai, IBM watson, Google natural language processing API and recast.ai, bot building platforms such as chatfuel, flowxo, motion.ai, chatteron.in and native code using Java or Python natural language processing and machine learning libraries such as Theano, Tensorflow, weka, mahout, sklearn, nltk, stanford nlp and so on. Bot analytics tools such as facebook analytics for bots, bot-metrics.com and botanalytics.co are available as well. Bots dont need any download, storage, installation and upgrade compared to apps and run fully on cloud.
