A high-pass operational amplifier circuit is cascaded with a low-pass operational amplifier to create a band-pass filter is analyzed. Each of the basic first-order Bode plot terms is presented individually in terms of the magnitude and phase contributions they produce.
The band-pass transfer function of magnitude and phase is plotted term by term to create the full Bode plot. The amount of error in a first-order Bode plot is discussed.
