This demo video shows the satellite tracking capability of the new 10 Micron HPS Eq. Mount series.
The satellite data can be uploaded into the mount software control and a list of satellites visible at the time and date selected by the operator will be automatically pointed and tracked by the mount.
The mount will point the exact part of the sky where the sattelite will appear and will star tracking it precisely, performing a fast and precise meridian flip (at slewing rate of 15° for 1000HPS and up to 20° slewing rate for bigger models) where necessary, catching the satellite again until it will desappear from the horizon of view.
