This video series introduces you to the Java programming language. These videos were designed for Computer Science II (CSCE 156) in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The presentation of these videos will assume prior programming experience with at least one high-level programming language.
In this first video, we introduce the basics of writing, compiling and running a Java program. We also highlight some of the basics of the language that would be familiar from other languages. We'll be primarily using the Eclipse IDE for all of our demonstrations.
