Because we can’t make models fast enough, we rely on trunk shows for our inspiration. Then we pass along the ideas to you through Monday Marketplace! Today, we have a Woolstok trunk show featuring different weights of yarn. This show has the Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Light, Prairie and the Worsted. The Prairie, 273 yards/50 gr is 53% Suri Alpaca, 47% Baby Huacayan Alpaca. The Light and Worsted are both 100% Fine Highland Wool, with 218 yards and 123 yards per 50 gr. We started out by showing the Corning Gradient Trio of hats that use worsted bundles and color work to create the multi colors. The Lynx Wrap combined worsted and Prairie for a large cozy wrap. Poppy Fields Cowl showcases lovely color work in the fingering weight yarn with a tall deep cowl. A very simple cardigan called New London Cardigan is made from the fingering weight for a classic look. Lastly, we show the Ishpeming Hat & Cowl made using a slip stitch pattern from the worsted weight Woolstok. We love the beautiful rich colors that Woolstok carries!
