The second movement of Cembaliana composed in 2021 by John Gordon Hill. It is dedicated to Gustav Leonhardt (1928-2012) Dutch keyboardist, conductor, musicologist, teacher and editor. He was a towering figure in the historically informed performance movement. I was fortunate to attend a master class of his in Boston, and my teacher in Seattle, Jillon Stoppels Dupree, studied with him in Amsterdam.
