On the Scribus website, you will see there are two versions of Scribus. There is a Stable branch, and the Development Candidates. I never had any problems with the latest Development version, so for this course I will use the latest Scribus version 1.5.7 (or higher). In this video I will show you how to download Scribus 1.5.7. Please watch lecture 1 (Install Ghostscript for Scribus) if you haven't installed the Ghostscript plugin yet (because it will save you work if you do this before installing Scribus).
