Now that you have learned the basic, most common version of the ladder stitch and brick stitch beading, I'd like to introduce you to another way to build the ladder stitch base row. (Review Basic Bead Weaving Here: https://youtu.be/oJ-LHPbn3xU) Here are the steps to follow to complete your pattern with a modified ladder stitch row. (1) Determine the starting row on your pattern. (2) String all the beads on that row to your thread (3) Connect each bead together with a circular stitch. (4) When you get to the end of your row, “lock” your beads by passing your thread through the last two beads, twice. (5) Continue building your brick stitch rows.
