The process has been segregated according to the role they belong to and are as follows: On the NetWorker Client - nsrexecd On the Storage node - nsrsnmd - nsrmmd - nsrlcpd On the backup server (There are many more but the one’s listed below are important to know) - nsrd - nsrmmdbd - nsrindexd - nsrjobsd - nsrmmgd On the NetWorker Console server - httpd - gstd - postgres You can use the following commands to check the status or start/stop of the NetWorker services. To start the NetWorker services on a Linux system: systemctl start networker or /etc/init.d/networker start To stop the NetWorker services on a Linux system: systemctl stop networker or /etc/init.d/networker stop To check the NetWorker services on a Linux system: systemctl status networker or /etc/init.d/networker status Replace networker with gst in the above commands to start/stop or check status of the NetWorker console server on Linux server To start NetWorker service on client/ storage node: net start nsrexecd To stop NetWorker service on client/ storage node: net stop nsrexecd To start NetWorker service on backup server: net start nsrd To stop NetWorker service on backup server: net stop nsrd Replace nsrd with gst in the above commands to start/stop or check status of the NetWorker console server on Windows server.
