2 Quick & Easy Garden Tips with GREAT RESULTS!!!!
2 Quick & Easy Garden Tips with GREAT RESULTS !!! Materials: Gallon Milk Cartons (emptied and cleaned out of all milk residue) Potting Soil Bag (with about 1 1/2 inches of soil left) Tape (masking tape or something sturdy) Scissors Marker With a clean gallon milk carton place on side and pierce a hole under the handle and cut all around carton but stopping before detaching the top of carton. Fill just under the bottom label on carton and dampen soil. Spread seeds over soil and top with a light layer of soil just enough to cover all the seeds and lightly dampen the new layer of soil. Now fit the milk carton back in place and close the open seams with masking tape until the entire cut is covered with masking tape and the only air that flows should be from the top of the carton. For the first 24-28 hours put the cap on carton to create a green house effect. After that you can take the cap off and let air in and keep in area with 6-8 or more hours of sunlight. Keep your potting soil bag and with about 1-2 inches of dirt left in the bag roll the bag down to about 2-3 inches higher than the dirt. On outside of bag label and date what contents you are putting in the bag. Dampen the soil and spread seeds all over and top with a light layer of soil just enough to cover all the seeds and lightly dampen the new layer of soil. If you have some clear bags place bag in and close off top. If you have plastic grocery bags try using the lightest color and place soil bag in that and close. Place in area with 6-8 or more hours of sunlight. I planted both versions on April 5, 2026 and within 7 days these were my results showing in the end. Good Luck! #gardentips #gardening #diytips #homestead #homesteading #garden #growingvegetables
