This isn't to mock the poor kid who made this decision. It's to simply show that anything is possible in a game of Rugby League. SG Ball (Under 18s NSW competition) Grand Final between the Knights and Bulldogs.
The Knights lead 24-20 with 10 seconds on the clock. They were in posession on last tackle. The halfback who wont be named decided to kick it behind him to try and make the ball go dead (therefore the Bulldogs would have no chance of getting the ball back)
However, as you can see... he got it wrong, badly.
For the record, the Bulldogs missed the conversion. It went into Golden Point, and the Knights kicked a field goal from 40m out to win their first SG Ball comp since 2004.
