2021 Student Capstone Presentations

This showcase is the final project of our Simulation and Game Development students and represents the culmination of their student career here at Wake Technical Community College. This year we are looking to currently have nine teams that will demonstrate the use of Unity and UE4 in the creation of games and projects that they have completed during this summer term. This year, students have had 9 weeks to create complete games/demos/simulations from scratch. All assets that are featured in the games are created in the class or are starter content. During the last year the world has changed with COVID-19 and adjustments had be made for the safety of our students and faculty. This summer, the Final Project class was in a totally online format. While this produced some unique challenges, it has also produced some opportunities for the students. A lot of jobs in the world have moved and are continuing to move to a remote format and the opportunities in this class provided the students with an exposure to how to effectively work in an online environment. Below you will find links to the individual team sites. You can get more information about the teams, learn about their games, go to their live stream on presentation night, and even download the games to play.
