Like all second gens, our rear window decided to stop working. I had some initial suspicions that it could have been caused by broken wires at the hinge point or the rear wiper position sensor. Luckily, it didn't take me long to figure it out. In this video, I will walk you through the possible causes that I have discovered through my research on the matter, how the window operates under certain conditions, and explain a trick to overcome a faulty wiper motor or sensor to restore functionality of your tailgate window.
