This demo teaches beginning design students how to create a 2-pt Perspective Grid to maintain correct proportions. Remember, you will need to place your vanishing points (VP) off the paper to produce a larger grid. You could also make a photocopy enlargement. With a little practice you can make a grid, and customize it to your particular need in just a few minutes, much faster and cheaper than buying them. For this demo, I used a 5' eye level, or Horizon Line (HL), but remember scale is simply relative, just be sure that if you decide the Vertical Measurement to be 3/4" = 2", that you're making the same scale translation on the horizontal grid, resulting in each grid unit representing 2". The space drawn here uses a scale of 3/4" = 1'-0". You must get familiar with the concepts of scales in design. Good luck!
