A trip to the spa town of Buxton (home of the eponymous water) in Derbyshire in the centre of the Peak District and England's highest market town, sited at some 1,000 feet (300 m) above sea level, to see the wonderful architecture, the Crescent, The Old Hall Hotel (one of the town's oldest buildings), The Devonshire Dome (the world's largest unsupported dome), St Ann's Well and the Palace Hotel. . . . . . . and Queenie's Tea Room and "brilliant things to buy" emporium (not sponsored, it's just I loved the shop)
