I purchased this for Fun and to compare with my real CNC Mill. Ignore the Typo's - I ignore them, too (usually before Posting ;-( Summary: • A nice little unit for Hobby and learning • Easy to assemble (assembly instructions were good) • For Newbies, I suggest Not using the metal hold-downs at first. Get some practice first so you don't run the Tool-Bit's into them. Probably not an issue on large pieces of work but, more important on a small items, such as PCB • I mounted the Controller with Buttons on the Top and added Button Caps that I posted at Thingiverse. Here's the link (you'll see Two Button design panels) https://www.thingiverse.com/still_breathing/designs • Easy to use (typical CNC milling stuff...) • The 'Candle' software from their Amazon link is for Windows. I found the site (link below) that has a Link to Candle software for the Mac (OSX) Here's the link: https://docs.sainsmart.com/article/zcyhab7a0k-how-to-install-grblcontrol-candle-for-mac • I edited the 'settings.ini' Text file to customize it as I wanted. I was easy/straight forward • For the Mac, the file is located by: Right-Click the App, Show-Package-Contents, MacOS, settings.ini (it's content is fairly easy to understand...) Link to the Hold-Down's (.STL files so, can 3D-Print or CNC-Mill them...) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4708511 TIP: Suggest changing the Acceleration value to 5 in the settings.ini. It will run smoother and minimize breaking Tool Bits, especially small End-Mill Bits
