JavaScript is used mainly for enhancing the interaction of a user with the webpage. We talk about node which is basically an engine that allows us to run JavaScript locally on a computer without needing a web browser. In this video, we will be writing our very first JavaScript program. In this Introduction to JavaScript Tutorial For Beginners, we are shown how to use javascript inside the HTML code using the script tag. The script tag has two purposes: - It identifies a block of script in the page. - It loads a script file. Which it does depends on the presence of the src attribute. A script close tag is required in either case. We are also shown how to create variables in javascript and concatenate them and display them using the alert function and console.log function.
