Whether it’s for aesthetic or functional purposes, patterns are a critical part of many designs. One technique for creating patterns involves starting with a set of points and generating polygon-shaped boundaries off of them. After this, either the boundary lines or the polygon shapes themselves can be used in a design. This is the basis of Voronoi diagrams.
