3D Printed Compressed Air Engine V2
In this video I show the development of my version 2 compressed air engine. The majority of the parts are 3D printed on my Ender 3, with some other easy to get parts such as nuts and bolts, O-rings and metal bearings. The previous engine had a run time of about 15 - 20 seconds when starting at 60PSI. The first iteration of version 2 lasted about 4 seconds and then fizzled out pitifully. I then realised my mistake and made some adjustments. The version 2.5 had it's own issues, mainly the 3D printed ball valve leaking (which was expected), but it was able to operate at pressures as low as 10PSI (the previous engine fizzled out at about 20PSI). So I knew I was on to something here, I just need to find a way to improve the seal on the valve and I think this engine would work really well. I hope you enjoyed the video, let me know what you thought in the comments! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music Dj Quads: https://soundcloud.com/aka-dj-quads https://twitter.com/DjQuads https://www.instagram.com/djquads https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCusF...
