3DGS Dreamcore Walking Simulator | Design Draft #1
Working on the first iteration of my dreamcore walking simulator game, where the player walks around the environment and triggers different visual effects based on interaction and context (e.g. click to water splash, audio driven matrix vfx, matrix vfx for world collapse). In this edition. I also experimented with having a conversational agent as companion, where the user could "talk to the environment" by connecting with Gemini Live API, and the LLM gives voice responses and triggers different vfx based on the interaction context. I think the world labs marble is incredible powerful in creating walking simulator games, especially in terms of dreacmore genre. I am super obsessed with it and hope to share more creation of such experiences in the future! Technical stack: Unity + custom made vfx ✦ A note on the music The BGM is generated with Suno. Yes, it's AI — but I burned through a monthly subscription and listened to several hundred generated tracks of pure garbage before picking this one. This track will live on in my future indie game, so please do not reuse or redistribute it without permission. 🙏
