When his uncle died, Gex decides to inherited a lot of money to buy the world's largest TV, then watch more TV until Gex eats a transmitter fly that was sent Rez that caused his TV to go blank. Rez reached out and grab Gex, and then pulled him into the Media Dimension to use him as a mascot to rule the world. Gex refuses to become Rez's mascot as he plans to collect all remotes and manages to defeat Rez in order to return to his mansion. All remotes collected for 100% game completion.
