This is a little drill I created for practicing the different types of hits we use in drumming (taiko and otherwise). This runs it at a slower tempo (75 BPM).
Combining all four types of hits (catch up, catch down, tap up, tap down) at a faster tempo (95 BPM).
The exercise is 8 beats of each, then two rounds of 4 beats, and then 4 rounds of 2 beats. Have fun!
