Local Scope: 1. Variables declared inside a function. 2. Limited to the function they are declared in. 3. Accessible only within the function block. Global Scope: 1. Variables declared outside of any function. 2. Accessible from anywhere in the code. 3. Persist throughout the lifetime of the program. 4. Can lead to namespace pollution if not managed properly. Block Scope: 1. Introduced by blocks of code such as those defined by curly braces {}. 2. Variables declared within a block are only accessible within that block. 3. Commonly used with constructs like if statements, loops, and functions. 4. Helps in limiting the scope of variables, reducing unintended side effects and conflicts.
