1: Use the cd command efficiently. cd - to previous directory, cd to home and cd ~/subdirectory to go to a subdirectory in home
2: CTRL+L to clear the screen
3: Use !$ or ESC+. to recall the last argument
4: Use the caret key to replace strings in the previous command
5: Navigate the current line with ctrl+a the start of line ctrl+e to end of line. Delete to the start with ctrl+u and delete to end with ctrl+k
