5. The Root Cellar

While we had the excavator, we decided to go ahead and do something we've always wanted to do-- dig a root cellar! We had a lot of logs that were already down on our property, and a lot from trees we had to take down. In this video we'll go over all of the details and variables you'll need to know if you want to do your own root cellar. Its very, VERY simple! I am so happy with how this project turned out, even though we aren't quite done. It's the perfect little rustic hobbit hole. We are so excited to be able to properly store our root vegetables and maybe even cured meats and canned/dried goods.
