I'm starting to a new video series and planning to make videos related to production tips and tricks. Also I'll shoot some making of video tutorials of my favourite genres, producers and tracks. This first video is about 5 different sidechain methods and how to apply them in FL Studio. All of them are really useful methods and you guys can use them in different situations. For example Fruity Limiter will work in most cases. You can customise attack, release, knee and sustain knobs and apply the sidechain compression in various ways. LFO Tool is one of my favourite sidechain method. You can trigger it with midi by just simple creating a MIDI OUT. It can be used if your kick is not constant, I mean not hitting in every beat. Another method that I talked about in this video is C6 by Waves. I'm using C6 when I'm mixing pop, rock and all other acoustic music. It's multiband sidechain compression so that means you can compress the signal separately. Fruity Peak Controller + Fabfilter Pro Q 3 is one of the most interesting sidechain compressing method. I learned it from R3SPAWN. It can be used in sidechained reverb technic too. And the last method that I teach is just a simple volume automation.
