58.38 5×5 NR AVERAGE

No words can express how proud I'm now.I haven't held 5×5 NR average since Asians 2022,so 2+ years have passed since that comp.Even since 5×5 NR Average became faster and faster and I knew pretty I won't be able to catch up Alikhan's times. At some comp in Astana I was sitting in the waiting area, waiting for my solve.I open WCA live and I see new 5×5 NRs,that moment I told myself I Will never able to be that fast,it was 54 NR single and low 1 average,but back than I was averaging 1:20 and really thought I won't be this fast. At the Worlds 2023 I bought MGC 5×5 and practiced a little bit and my times dropped to 1:10 but I was nowhere near the NR and I stopped my Grind. In May 2024 I decided to give 5×5 last chance, even though my cube wasn't good I dropped my average to 1:03 and I knew if I'll improve a little bit I will have that NR.At competition in June 2024 I had 1 round of 5×5 but I got 1:03 Average which obviously didn't gave me the NR. The next 3 months I grinded my ass off,I ordered Hong 5×5 in the End of June and that's when the real grinded started,I started improving day by day and by the comp in August I already dropped my average to 57 seconds and I knew I'm capable of getting the NR.The first round of 5×5 resulted in setback,I got 1:01 PR Average but my goal was to get NR Average(1:00.47 at the time) And now it's time for final round of 5×5,I just sat with "I don't care mentality" and really couldn't care less about the NR.First solves weren't on the pace for NR,however I clutched up on the last 3 and got the long awaited NR.The hunt for the NR is over.
