5th Gear

I wrote this inspired by a completely random encounter that I had with a tick tock video by Lucy Shaw, a singer, who sung a song about the M6. And it really got in my head, because I'd never wrote a song about roads I actually drive down and use before. And I figured, if she can name and shame the M6, a road I love by the way, one of my favourites, Scotland or bust baby! Well if she can do that, why can't I write a random song about roads, but specific roads, roads that mean something, like she did. So I wrote this, probably in less than a day and Ai tool forever just churning out random nonsense. We settled eventually on this cause I didn't want to spend forever on it. I wanted to get the notebook lyrics out the way before December!
