Procedures to measure Dissolved Oxygen (DO) with a DC1200 kit (by Winkler Titration Method) or SMART2 colorimeter. The DO test measures the oxygen (O2) levels in the water (H2O)!
This test is only completed by Senior Waterwatch groups - high schools and adults - as it involves the use of chemicals.
Please ensure you take proper WH&S precautions when undertaking this test, i.e. gloves, safety glasses, liquid waste container, deionised water and paper towel. Liquid waste can be disposed into the sewer system or septic system.
