In this tutorial I demonstrate the 8 stranded globe knot, as shown in Des Pawson's knot craft and rope mats. This knot is ideal for finishing projects such as whips, bell ropes, floggers etc.
The knot takes a bit of getting used to, but it is a really nice one. Once you know how to tie it you can use other strand numbers as well.
