This little buck was orphaned last year and grew up by himself in this food plot. When I first encountered him, he was very sickly and laying down most times I saw him, with buzzards and crows constantly landing around him to ‘check’ on him. As result, he grew up mean just like the boy named Sue in Johnny Cash’s song. He doesn’t seem to take too kindly to visitors to his spot and have seen him on numerous occasions running off much larger deer.
