The father of JonBenét Ramsey says cutting-edge DNA testing may at last bring justice for his daughter, nearly three decades after she was found murdered. Despite thousands of tips and countless suspects, no one has ever been charged with her killing. But John, now 80, believes the latest breakthrough in DNA science could finally deliver the truth. He pointed to genome sequencing techniques used in the Gilgo Beach murder trial. Earlier this month, a New York judge ruled to allow prosecutors to use evidence from degraded DNA samples tested by Astrea Forensics in California. If I was the police I would have looked at who had a habit of breaking into homes when people were away. Usually those that break into homes are locals. Who moved away with in a year of this child's death. The FBI labs are pretty good of doing a search in their DNA files that can do cross matching to see if said sample is related to anyone in their files. Local hospital used to take blood samples of patients many still on file.
