One of the most important things you can do when learning a foreign language is to set goals. By setting up goals, you provide yourself with a clear objective on what you want to achieve and how you plan on getting there in a certain amount of time. Learning a language can take a long time, and it can be difficult to know if you are getting better. By having goals and tracking your progress, you ultimately help eliminate the risk of quitting and help to maximize the chances to improve steadily.
