After a roll-out as mysterious as the album itself, we got IGOR, Tyler’s most personal record yet, expanding on the themes of love that Flower Boy established in 2017. IGOR recounts a love story between Tyler and another boy, but, it’s a love story that hides many secrets. This album seems so joyful and happy to me, but underneath all that cheerfulness hides a character tormented in a cycle of uncertainty, jealousy and obsession that he can never get out of. Ever.
