A Little Engine Called Edward
Dear friends, It has been seventy-six years since the first book about our engines came out. While seventy-six may not appear to be a very important number, I believe it is. There is no hiding from what the future holds for "Thomas & Friends", and it upsets me greatly that such a wonderful world has been horribly mistreated by a corporate sham. In October, their new version of the television series comes out, and I'm certainly not looking forward to it. But I'm not here to complain about the future, I'm here to look back on these marvellous engines you and I call friends. They are still hard at work, and proving themselves a credit to their island every day. Edward, in particular, is doing a splendid job. We all like Edward, and with good reason. Some people don't understand why, and sometimes, he doesn't either! But I reassure you all, Edward is a lovely engine, filled with determination and kindness that he shares with everyone. Our world needs more people like Edward, and I hope that this short may show you why. Thank you, the Awdry Family and all those who understand the brilliance of these real engines, and do their part to keep their legacy alive. Here is to many more years of the Island of Sodor, those who make it so great, and to Edward the Blue Engine for being the enterprising engine we all know him to be. * - Chara. =) This video is now part of the "Gift of Giving, of Nowhere" trilogy: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJNNH3CkjhD1YtThKqWoBEzSt2DLZoFh5&si=Fkb22e7m8u8tVl4A * CONTENT BY: * TheWelshEngineer (PLEASE GIVE HIM YOUR SUPPORT, his wonderful Edward model was what motivated me to make this), LittleEngineProductions, The Marvellous Mainland Works, Sodor Workshops, myself * Amosdoll Music * G.W Shunter and Brandon Polley
