Three hundred years after the Old Testament prophets spoke of a coming Messiah, John the Baptist stepped onto the stage of human history and proclaimed the good news of His coming. Baptizing in a desert region, John preached clearly about the need for repentance and forgiveness of sins. Alistair Begg reminds us that only those marked by humility, like John the Baptist, will be able to communicate a clear message of repentance to the lost.
