This Islamic pattern is based on a 10 fold pattern found in the Jameh Mosque, Isfahan. Analysis and construction of the underlying grid and transformations of five fold symmetry after Richard Henry.
The pattern was constructed and then transferred to Fabriano Artistico hot press watercolour paper. Painted with watercolour and gilded with 22 carat hand ground shell gold.
