A Polymer Clay Tutorial: Cha Cha Chains, Again…

Dear Peeps, I love chains. I love polymer clay chains. As I never leave my home (well, rarely) they are items to hold and look at and drape on my muse, Louis. They are less wearables for me as they are toys and torture devices for my poor furbabies. They love me so they accept that I am the odd person who feeds, holds, hugs and loves them. Anywho, I caught the chain bug. I proceeded to make a very large, very unattractive chain, followed with another slightly more attractive version but, being totally unhappy, I gave up. For. A. While. I started up again. What didn’t I like about my first efforts? They were bulky, heavy, the pattern too large, and seemed to scream “Mr. T.” At me. Let’s make finer chains, let’s make a finer pattern and let’s just do a better job, okay? My goals. So, this is what happened. I’m happy.
