Transposing is a terrifically useful skill, especially if you're wanting to match a song to a different vocal range than the original record, for example if the singer has a low voice and the original recording is really high, or if the singer in your band has a tired voice and asks you to play it a tone lower etc.
This is only a really quick view over why it's a useful skill - I'll definitely do a video explaining this more in depth - but your diatonic chords and knowledge of major scales are going to be beautifully useful for this 😌🧐
