A small Scribus Workshop

Since DM Scotty launched Open EZD6 (https://www.ezd6.com/) , quite a few people have been chafing at the bit to publish their material for it. Since not everyone (myself included) wants to spend an arm and a leg on Desktop Publishing software, I put together a small workshop on his Discord server (https://discord.gg/95vU4aYmeC ) to show the basics of Scribus, a free, open-source DTP application. While the interface is not as swanky as higher end applications, Scribus is pretty dang powerful and can cover most of the basics that most people need. You can get it at https://www.scribus.net/ - I'm using version 1.5.8 in this video. One of the projects I laid out with this was DM Scotty's Advantage Card Deck - more about that at https://youtu.be/1b5NpG4UnBA The plugin I used for the card deck generation is https://github.com/berteh/ScribusGenerator/tree/python3 - the documentation on this is quite excellent and the plugin is very powerful.
