To make this warbling sound I used a simple setup of two oscillators and three LFO's (low frequency oscillators) to adjust two filters. To make the shapes, I plugged my synthesizer into an oscilloscope, with one oscillator on the X channel and the other oscillator on the Y channel. The combination of the sounds moves the light trace in a generally circular pattern when the oscillators are tuned to harmonious frequencies. When they deviate too far from each other they create a scattered chaotic line.
