AAP Containerized Install: Online
Red Hat introduced a container-based installation of Ansible Automation Platform in 2.4 under Tech Preview. Since it became available, the experience has already become quite smooth and I expect it to be the standard at some point in the future. The bash setup script is replaced by a playbook which exists in a collection (there is also an uninstall playbook). Each component of the platform is installed as container micro-services, a modern architecture that will improve delivery and quality of the product while reducing its footprint. Follow me as I walk through my setup and experience so far with the new and improved installation method.
