Abaqus CAE - Chladni patterns

Ernst Florens Friedrich Chladni was a German physicist and musician. His most important work included research on vibrating plates inventing a technique to show the various modes of vibration on a rigid surface, known as Chladni figures or Chladni patterns due to the various shapes or patterns created by various modes. It is very interesting to see the FEA modal figures on the plate are exactly the same to those discovered by Chladni in 1800.
