Able Australia Services is a long-standing non-profit organisation that provides services to people with multiple disabilities including deafblindness. Ablelink is a unique e-communications centre for people with deafblindness and dual-sensory loss incorporating a drop-in centre, training and access to state of the art adaptive communication technologies. Specially adapted computers allow individuals to access the Internet, emails, online networks and a variety of software packages. People can communicate with friends, join social clubs, shop online and access any information locally, nationally and globally. For many people with deafblindness and dual sensory impairment, Ablelink provides a vital connection to a wider community.
