FLSTYN is a vibrant tribute to Palestine. The track opens like a sung letter, carried by the voice of Oum, beginning with the sounds of the Arabic letters that spell out “Palestine”: Fa, Lam, Seen, Ta, Ya, Noun. Gradually, atmospheric voices and vocal arrangements in canon emerge, accompanied by a deep Middle Atlas rhythm played on the bendir. The song concludes with the moving appearance of Kamilya Jubran, the Franco-Palestinian musician and singer, her voice a blessing that crowns the piece. Production : Jawjab.
