Last year was difficult – not only for me personally, but for many people around the world. Ongoing crises drain us all, and I’m convinced that the pandemic has left deep marks in each of us. That’s why I decided to record a "LOVE songs" set, hoping to step into 2025 with optimism and positive energy. However, 2025 has not met even my minimal expectations so far. On the contrary – it has become one of the most challenging years of my life, filled with disappointments, even from people closest to me. Still, I refuse to let hate into my heart. But I also realised that love songs alone aren’t always enough to carry us forward. So I chose to record this energetic set – not only for myself, but for anyone out there who needs a spark. A spark that, hopefully, helps us tear through this year with strength and allows us to start the next one refreshed and renewed. Musically, I went for an electronic direction – featuring artists I deeply admire: from the Ed Banger Records roster to one of my all-time favorites, Siriusmo from Monkeytown Records. And in between, you will hear a beloved classic of mine from Kraftwerk. I know this set might cost me a few subscribers. But my heart led me here – and if this mix feels too intense for you, you can always return to my last year's "LOVE songs" set, which I hope will continue to bring you peace. But not every episode is meant for the club or a dancefloor crowd. When I share music online, it’s less about flashy blends and more about storytelling through sound and lyrics. For me, the magic is in the selection, the sequence, and the way one track emotionally leads into the next: like chapters in a concept album. Smooth mood transitions, occasional sharp pivots, lyrical progression, rising tension, soft landings… And most importantly: most songs are perfect as they are. Why cut them short when every second is delicious!
