Today, we're going over how to convert an absolute value function into a piecewise-defined function! This is a super useful way to think about absolute values, especially later on in calculus when you learn about a concept known as a "limit".
Split everything into 2 cases:
1. Everything within the bars is greater than or equal to 0 (positive).
2. Everything within the bars is less than 0 (negative).
Then, simplify, and graph if needed.
